The Jehovahs witnesses visited the farm today with a leaflet entitled "When will suffering end?"

"In a fortnight, when lambing is over" was our reply.

Arrived at the shed last night to find grandad struggling to lamb a sheep. Couldn't feel the lamb, didn't seem to be there. A bit of a mystery. We eventually discovered it had lambed itself earlier while we were having some tea, and the lamb had got into the next door pen, somehow, and was being fussed over by a granny sheep that hadn't lambed at all. It's amazing how much trouble sheep can get into when you are away for half an hour.
