I used to hang all the bird feeders off an old, dead rotting apple tree, as part of my clearing up yesterday we pulled the whole thing out and removed it. Today I designed and installed a new bird feeder holder today, nothing fancy but built to suit birds as the priority. Within 20 mins of bringing the dogs, cats and myself inside out of the way there's more birds than ever. Its 10yds nearer the house and in full view of the kitchen window(y)

I've got a couple of possible tweeks in mind but will wait and see how the wee birds get on with it for a couple of weeks. I'm trying to keep the rooks and crows from bullying the wee birds and scoffing all the fat balls and mealworms:mad:
