I wonered how many died , back in the bad old days, on this project. Looked it up - apparently NONE! No deaths on the Chrysler Building. Yet 60 deaths during the construction of the World Trade Centre. How can that be?

Smug is too short a word for the pleasure you get watching your neighbours baler going home in the heavy, unforecast thunderstorm when your silage is wrapped in the yard.

Schadenfreude is too German a word and anyway I wouldn't enjoy watching his roof blow off as mine would be long gone.
