Me: 'Yes, although we can't go back, the faster we go time slows down for us, so we can go forward.'

Eldest: 'How fast?'

Me: 'The faster the better, but we can't go as fast as the speed of light.'

Eldest: 'Then we should invent a machine to go faster than light.'

Me: (smiling) 'Not possible, nothing can go faster than light.'

Middle one: 'Not even roadrunners?!'

I laughed so hard I had to pull over for a minute.

Your post made me remember a time with two of mine.

Youngest ( 6ish at the time) in back of the car with hiccups, he was hiccupping every few seconds, when suddenly daughter ( 10ish) suddenly started to hiccup too in the front seat. All of a sudden youngest starts wailing at the top of his lungs, I thought he was hurt and pulled the car over. Jump out run round and open back door, ask him what is wrong? His reply had me laughing for weeks......" She stole my hiccups!"
