Not sure that will do the job, it is designed to protect from blast, what he needs is something like a chainsaw protective suit to protect from shredding!

Yes, totally agree, but you can’t get a full body chainsaw suit....
Pete would obviously have to wear chainsaw trousers under the blast suit, legs would be the first thing that Big Lad would go for, and it would protect Pete’s femoral artery..........
The rest will be down to chance, the possibility that Big Lad might get distracted by a fluffy toy or a butterfly fluttering past......and how fast Pete can run!......
But whatever happens.....there will be blood....
