First of the easycares to lamb this year, she was such a good mum, they were born in the wrong field and I had to walk them over a half mile to the right field, she chivvied them along and mothered them all the way - it did take a while.

last night my daughter said "that's elsa, look at her face!" (she named everything when she was younger) , after much trawling threw old photos I found she is correct

Now her challenge is to find Anna

4yr old told us that when the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs hit earth, it altered the earths speed of rotation a little bit, and it’s never fully recovered.

Saw a young hare come through my yard.
First one I have seen in a very long time.

Given the amount of crows,ravens,buzzards, badgers etc around here it’s something of a miracle.

Never seen as many hares around here, a rare day if you don't see one. Often see 3 or 4 in a field at once.

Locking the roadside gates has increased the population here. It keeps the Subaru's out.
