Some tough old girl she is

She passed by our farm yesterday. We are in South Lanarkshire on a back road that is a bit out the way. Can only assume she uses roads that are fairly quiet. We see her most years. Made a change to see her sunning herself sitting against a tree, rather than the rain soaking her to the skin.

My Sycamore sapling, self seeded into a flower pot last year, I transplanted it back in January, it's gone a bit mad this year, looks like I will have to find a good home on the farm for it this year!

Some parts of it have hills, especially West of the A1.

Now here's an interesting thought....

Should land be cropped where it is necessary to use a tilting header to harvest esp in light of the potential for soil loss during establishment?
