Jurgen the dog got muddy whilst crop walking with Mrs L he refused to ride in the back of the pickup with the other dogs so was left to make his own way back to the yard…. So he hitched a lift .

My son returned from shopping yesterday as he was unloading his shopping a strange car pulled into the driveway. Out of the car came the undertaker who had buried his grandfather in february on the farm. He’d come to check if the grave had settled yet. He really loves his job . It’s nice to know there are still some characters around.

Post movement TB test all clear for young Riggit Galloway bull recently weaned and brought up from the Hatherland Herd, Tiverton. Very pleased with his growth (bull behind him is 17 months )
Vet also PD’d Sarah bred by me but belonging to a friend . About 50 days in calf so the black bull at the back of the first photo Bomber’s not a Jaffa! I asked about her keeping bulling and Mike the vet looked up and smiled and said in his County Durham accent “mebbe she’s just a hoooor “ !
