This little guy makes me smile!

There’s a bit of a farmyard theme going on with his clothing…

Just came across this pic, taken a month ago.
This is Toby our 7 month old cocker.
He is just wonderful. No other words.

I took this pic and sent it to Geoff, who was going to pop up in the morning to collect it.
He thought the pic was great.
Geoff was 70 and helps me hay making.
Nicest chap you could meet.
Died of a heart attack that night.
Funeral in 2 days.

Well I had a smile moment tonight .
We had tenants moving out of a house in Newent today so we went over to get the keys and do an inspection.
They were a Polish couple and had been there for 6 yrs .
We were a bit concerned about what state the house would be in ...... we need not have worried ... they had completely re-decorated it to a high standard....it was a real pleasure .
On top of that a huge bunch of flowers for the OH and a bottle Whisky for me to say thankyou for allowing them to live in our house !

Doesn’t need too! 😁
Times are hard around here !!! Every penny helps 😊😊
To be fair we find the Polish are the best tenants . They never complain ,pay the rent on time every time and the properties are always spotlessly clean .
Interesting point though is they are only giving up the tenancy because they are returning to Poland .......as there's are too many foreigners moving into the area !!
They wanted to bring their daughter up in Poland because it's a safer environment . !
Made me smile 😊😊

Boxes of this stuff eh!!!😆😆😆
I well remember the roadside shops, stands etc. going down the Okanagan Valley from Calgary selling local drinks and produce . Hope they aren't all flooded just now with the atrocious weather in BC . More to come also by all accounts . Must be an absolutely heart rending experience for the farmers involved , getting rescued but having to leave their stock behind to drown .
