The Soil Association in association with the Waitrose Farming Partnership is holding two events for arable farmers who are interested in opportunities to supply UK farmers with organic cereals on the 1st and 3rd March 2016.
The UK needs to produce more organic cereals for the growing feed market for organic poultry, meat and milk. Designed for arable farmers considering going organic, these events will provide practical information and advice on the principles of organic farming, how to convert your farm as well as information on how you can benefit from organic grants and market opportunities for your business.
At these workshops in Cambridgeshire and Oxfordshire we will hear from organic advisers, organic arable farmers, supply chains seeking to develop greater UK organic cereal supply and business advisers with information on the profitability of organic arable production.
