Evening everyone, so have been thinking lately of turboing my 8210 and have been wondering what turbo will suit and if I will need any other parts. Would a turbo from an 8340 suit? Or even from an 8360? Any advice Is appreciated

Lynd tractor parts in co.tyrone does a complete turbo kit for an 8210, bolts straight on apart from a few hoses that have to be adapted, man I worked with put one on his 8210, I never really saw that big of a difference power wise, she did run a lot cleaner as far as smoke went, to be honest we thought that it would have made far more of a difference for pulling power, a year later she was replaced for a nh 8560, which is about 10 years now, and it can pull!

Not looking to get loads of power, would just like to make the most of the fuel she is using, if I had her at around 130/135 I'd be happy, hopefully I could get that power for the same amount of fuel I'm using atm

Anything else restricting it from getting plenty of air in, at the minute?
You should try it with the flexible inlet pipe off, just to see if it would clear.
Not for long though has you'd have no air filter ........

Powerstar conversion? The battery has been moved to the cab steps so I don't think it's an 8210 engine
I don't think it's the original engine
It's hard to see but I think it's a powerstar out a TM or maybe a 70 series(y)(y):D as it doesn't look like a 40 series injection pump
Do all 8210s not have the battery under the step?

That could be the original position for the battery, I've never driven an 8210. Looks like it makes the cab steps on that side a bit pointless.
