I wanted a turbo for the sound
If I want whistle o think il go for a Ford 8970, got to drive one today and it was unreal, 300hp on the shaft trying to upload a video of itYour not helping .........
Though there might be an exhaust whistle available to help with gear changing and the like
That's nearly up at 1594 power!

Not bad for an untouched straight 6
It's on a friends Snapchat, waiting on him to save it then send it to meYou might have to put the video on UTube first, then post the link here?

But you have the 1594 screwed out?? A standard 1594 is what? 95 at flywheel so 80/85 at shaft?Given the ford is a 6.6 L and the 1594 is a 5.4 litre, mine clocked out 10hp less under full load
id have expected the ford to have done better
i bet the fuel consumption figures under full power are horrific as well

An 8210 is normally around 100 at shaft, given that she hasn't been touched to mine or the 2 previous owner knowledge and she's doin an extra 14hp over standard, I'd say that's not bad. I got open her up or turbo her for more power and she'd be the very best with it. No need to get into another whole discussion about DB vs Fordssomewhere about that...what im getting at is that for the cubic capacity your engine has, it ought to be shoving out a touch more than that given how its coaling
if i shut the 15 down to book spec it runs clean as a whistle

You had your chance to take part in a free and fair comparison in the CT test and prior to it you flicked your beloveds bean.
Had you been so confident of its performance - you would left it in its original form. Like @Thomas5060 Eighty two.
So, it begs the question - why didn't you?
