But you have the 1594 screwed out?? A standard 1594 is what? 95 at flywheel so 80/85 at shaft?

somewhere about that...what im getting at is that for the cubic capacity your engine has, it ought to be shoving out a touch more than that given how its coaling

if i shut the 15 down to book spec it runs clean as a whistle

An 8210 is normally around 100 at shaft, given that she hasn't been touched to mine or the 2 previous owner knowledge and she's doin an extra 14hp over standard, I'd say that's not bad. I got open her up or turbo her for more power and she'd be the very best with it. No need to get into another whole discussion about DB vs Fords

You had your chance to take part in a free and fair comparison in the CT test and prior to it you flicked your beloveds bean.
Had you been so confident of its performance - you would left it in its original form. Like @Thomas5060 Eighty two.

So, it begs the question - why didn't you?

It had been "flicked" long before that test believe me...we opened it out about a week after buying it, as it just needed a bit more urge having fitted a larger pair of rear tyres and hence altered the gearing...

without getting into a pointless argument, i had told CT that it had been opened out to over 110hp, They didnt all of a sudden turn round and say "well we dont want to test it now"

if anything i dont think they believed that it was possible to open one out that far...about 30 seconds into the dyno test they may have thought differently

Having said, the opened out 15 still wiped the 956s arse on fuel consumption...so whats that tell you?
