Think this must be the sections of the forum you hang about on , because whenever I see yet another thread about the forum itself........:bored: , I always wonder where these fights are.

Otherwise , you just have to accept that forums attract obnoxious people like moths to a flame , 'cos it's such a thrill to abuse somebody else from the anonymous safety of your living room where they can't get their hands on you.

One or two grumbling on TAW about slurry pics etc. Posted a lighthearted Youtube vid myself yesterday on the machinery section which received no end of criticism. Now apparently asking lots of questions is a no-no too.
I don't know why some don't go back to BFF, where nobody posts pictures / starts threads / asks questions........
I was only joking!

Never comment on these 'woe is the forum' threads, but here is a concept why whine about it?

If this was open air reality, somebody shuffles up offers a contrary opinion or an insult what would your reaction be? It's unlikely you would whine about it, unlikely you would scuttle off and complain about it, unlikely you would seek pity for how maltreated you have been - you would take what has been dealt and react with the appropriate level of response.

It hasn't been lost on me the poster who whines the most is also the one who contributes the least factual information to a thread, points out the obvious relentlessly, won't offer an opinion until others offer one up, will then contradict that opinion, talks the most nonsense - then duly complains the most.

Now, not that I'm saying I don't talk nonsense, b*llocks even, of course I do, sometimes I struggle to take threads too seriously and I'll post something silly, though never purposely maliciously if at all possible.

I enjoy silliness as TBH it's something that's missing in the day to day of late, the forum offers an escapism whilst also being relevant to how most of us live, whilst also being much more than the sum of its parts, this I feel is not lost on 90% of the membership and it goes without saying.

I don't like those who abuse for the sake of it, do not tolerate trolls and I do try and not be a grammar Nazi, although alittle more care with spelling would in all seriousness make the difference between understanding something or not - it seriously would.

I sometimes fall foul of myself, if it's been a tough time, it's easy to go too far and say too much, I do try to respect others opinions as much as possible, but it's likely at times the stresses of the thousands on here will overspill, and manifest in the treads, it's almost to be expected, so to that end we all have to try that little bit harder and give alittle bit more goodwill toward the collective good.
