I was thinking agriculture, not horticulture. :banghead: We used to grow a lot in Zim, outdoors, for the markets in Harare and Bulawayo, very good money. Here in the UK, my late father knew some blokes with acres of glass in the Lee valley, they certainly weren't broke.

Thats the problem in the UK horticulture is totally ignored yet can give far better returns then any cereal grower on a per acre basis. There is no reason why we could not compete commercially with the Dutch if the horticulture section was actually recognised as a valid part of UK ag.
