So Nissan Navara's snap in half, lots of bad press for Nissan and smug comments from all around and from competitors . However I will be buying another.
Last year I bought for my elderly father a cheap Navara to use locally ,I have had it a year and the chassis bent. I sent it to my local Nissan dealer who within 10 days have inspected it ,reported to Nissan who are buying it from me at top book price (more than I paid a year ago) giving me an allowance for two weeks till I find another vehicle and also giving me 20% of any new Navara pickup.
I am a firm believer in we all make mistakes but the difference is how you deal with them. A mistake by a company put right in an excellent way to me is a positive. Nissan made a mistake but are dealing with it in a text book fashion I feel and will be buying another.

Was told this a long time ago, a cock up, mistake, complaint or issue is ALWAYS a chance to turn something around and make it 200% better than it was prior.

Ryanair dealing with their flights cancelled, sort of " feckoff" to the poor beggars who booked cheap flights. That is the way to get more customers.

Fair play to Nissan for dealing with this problem in a decent manner. They have obviously learnt their lesson from the days when their 2002/3/4 pickups were having major engine issues, for which they were very keen to wriggle out of paying for. I'm pretty sure they lost a LOT of customers at the time. I know of two or three friends who were left with huge repair bills and will NEVER buy another Nissan.

What do people expect when they've paid £20 to fly to somewhere.
You get what you pay for springs to mind

Sorry but you do not often fly any cheaper with Ryanair than any other airline.
If you want to travel single with nothing but a small rucksack , you may get it marginally cheaper which reflects the lack of baggage.
I travelled recently with them to Faro and could certainly have travelled far cheaper except I wanted Stanstead mid day and it was certainly dearer than BA.
There actions are appalling as they must be aware large numbers of their passengers travel without insurance ( more fool them) but they know they do not have to compensate any more than basic due to the 50 year old Warsaw convention

Apparently they treat their pilots with such contempt that over 100 have left recently. This was confirmed by a pilots wife on the radio yesterday

Just had the misfortune to have been waiting for a small parcel delivery from Yodel!

Parts were ordered last Wednesday 13th and despatched from near Manchester, about 60 miles away.

Finally got it today, Wednesday 20th,with a sticker on the parcel saying "Not on my round".

A week to travel 60 miles! Nobody to speak to on a telephone to get any sense from; just e mail and automated answering machines.

Well done Yodel, an absolute shambles.
