My son works for a major international company, heavily involved in the internet, I can assure all, that upgrades are the one big scary thing they do very regularly, and even the best get it wrong.
They certainly time their upgrades when the traffic is at its lightest, but they can also put in place upgrades in low value regions who find the problems first!
when he worked for the world leading credit card company, he was horrified when in a small Asian country all the card machines went down thanks to an upgrade, his emails were a little strong, to his own team:)
I suspect Clive could employ such guys, but think we would have a lot more advertising to put up with, to pay the salaries
So he wouldn't do it on a Friday!?

Before most of tech world takes weekend off.

Loading photos maybe a tad slower.
"Liking" posts takes an age too.

Mine doesn't do anything much ! It's still dreadfully slow , and I don't now get the "preview "of a post message when I hover my pointer over it . TBH , I can't see a lot of change anywhere - certainly nothing in the way of improvement , but I live in hope that better times will arrive . Otherwise I lose the will to live . In fact , the only reason I cling on to life at all , is so as not to incur funeral expenses until better times in general arrive :):):)

Done the logging out thing. Restart phone. Close all tabs etc.
No noticeable difference.
Other websites all fine.
