Keep thinking one day I would plan and actually get to the 1 day shows that are held first week(s) of August in the SW of Scotland too . No shows or showing this year sadly

Always makes me laugh to take a walk from the machinery end with the kids where all the guys looking at shiny overpriced tractors are fat, then down to the livestock end where more( not all) of the stockmen are thin! :ROFLMAO:
But if you want to see a real show, the royal Welsh is the best by far !

Pick the right year and 3 shows in 4 days or 4 in a week. Beltie heaven for you. Here is a wee taster from last Dumfries show.

As farmers/contractors it's fine it's not on. Was always a big push to get finished silage/spraying before show so everyone could get away.

That pressures not there this year.

Clipping contractor who was in last week was saying the same.
With no NZ guys over this year he says no Highland Show or Lochearnhead shears will give them a good few more clipping days for the guys that are doing it this year to work their way through them.

Today, we should have been taking this chap and setting up at the Lincolnshire Show. Instead I have been cleaning the grain store out. We would have had 2 days at the show(3 in effect because of today) @yellowbelly @Lincs Lass and others from this part of the world would also be there. This year there is a flavour online if people want to have a look, you have to get a ticket but it is free!! I have done a piece on the cattle with a pal to go in the education section!!
Meet Winceby Yarlin!
The online show starts tomorrow just before 11.00am

Thanks @Chae1 Have a look at the online show if you have time. My cousin Jane has also been busy in the food section She owns a very successful day nursery called Red Hen.
