thoughts on these non main brand disc harrows

With these outfits they seam to do an impressive job on the stubble lays, anyone any photes of going over taller growth. We are organic and grow crops with good ground canapys to control weeds, but after combining and befor winter drilling we get major weed come through on the stubble, we would like a tool that we could go over the feilds with to chitter the weeds to encourage growth, and then go over three weeks later to chop them up, and maby repeat a few times befor winter drilling, currently just berry with the plough, but looking at options, any direct drillers on organics cereals about?
Have you looked at an amazone Certos.
Have seen them doing a good job in interesting conditions

anyone got any experince of these sort of cheaper disc harrows. seem to be a few makes about now with the skf bearings ect.
looking for something cheaper on our limited acreage to create stale seed beds and also be able to chop up some grassland.
TIA

Been running a set of 3meter Rol-ex disc’s for just over a year with a seeder unit mounted on it. It’s done around 700acre and so far so good. Stubble is no problem but When doing old grass leys found had to do two passes to get a good finish When doing grass to grass. So running set of front discs also this year to make it a one pass operation.

Does it matter.they do the same job but at a lot less purchase cost than the more expensive machines
Nick...
As long as the farmers who buy them are not the same farmers who demand British consumers buy more British food and pay more for the privilege of doing so..... It would be rather hypocritical of any farmer who takes the nationalist view and believes in leaving the EU to purchase such machines when there are British made equivalents....
