You're not really getting this "independence" thing are you? Those who want Wales and Scotland to leave the UK want to be in the EU, it's a sort of non independent independence.

What assets has Wales got that will keep us afloat after independence ? Farming and fishing fudgeed off thanks to the EU. Oil refineries and steel works fast disappearing. Can we survive on tourism alone ? Still, at least tariffs on English straw might help.

That's a good idea about the straw ,England can retaliate by putting tariffs on Welsh lamb imports.
Oh and can we have Monmouth back please?You can keep the rest.

I thought Pembroke saw itself as separate from the rest of Wales..
