Time we were out of the EU!

Tower 250g/l @ 2L/ha = 500g

Back in the day we could apply 3500g/ha CTU for excellent wild oat control and good blackgrass suppression
But after using on 3 in 4 crops in the rotation resistance built up after 10 years

In the USA those farmers who grow rr corn and beans have resistance problems but those who use rr crops on a rotational basis have much less problems

I could use a rr crop 1 in 3 or 4 years and reduce total rr use in the rotation this would also dramatically reduce the need for stacks of residual herbicides in autumn planted crops
This would be a win win less herbicide used overall elimination of pre harvest rr benefiting the water industry and a large saving in cost
Going back to rape swathing would also bring forward harvest
Rr spring rape would also help pollinators as when spring rape flowers it yields several times more nectar than winter rape at a time more usable by bees and other nectar consuming insects

While in the Eu we will never have these crops but hypocritically the Eu will still import crops using these techniques

The Sugar beet crop would benefit most with a bigger environmental benefit and cost saving

It doesn't matter the fact remains that the EU is more democratic than the UK

The Cambridge dictionary defines democracy as, "The belief in freedom and equality between people, or a system of government based on this belief, in which power is either held by elected representatives or directly by the people themselves". All the three main executive and legislative institutions in the EU have direct democratic legitimation, unlike the UK.
Of course it matters, and in this case, Junker was THE ONLY candidate to be put forward for election..... not backroom deals to make that happen, obviously!! If you think the EU is democratic, you need to take a closer look! And as for accountable.... can you show me where I can find the APPROVED and AUDITED accounts for the EU???? any from the last 20 years or so will do :)
