Timothy novice help

We planted some Timothy in the spring and it's come through a bit hit and miss - see the pictures.

The weeds have been sprayed but I'm wondering what to do with this at the minute with the idea being we get some hay off it next summer as I can't see making any this time is an option.

Where the sprayer can fit it's had 55kg/ha Nitrogen. Where it can't fit there's a visible difference so we need to find a way of getting some liquid fert on those areas.

Any advice much appreciated.
@Clever Dic and anybody else .....

Better bit that had nitrogen

Looks fantastic sheep feed, was the thin strip compacted or flooded ?

No it's around the perimeter of a solar farm so the thin bits are 6m wide hence harder to apply fertiliser. It was all ploughed, disc/pressed, power harrowed, seed blown on via a spinner and then double rolled. It's in for the long haul so done properly.

Seed rate iirc was 10kg/acre but would need to check.

Grazing isn't an option due to a massive amount of fencing being required as it's all open on one side all the way around.
