Tined weeder in no till

Anyone ever tried one on a no till crop? Would it work or is the hard surface a problem?

We were hoping to try and ping out some blackgrass which had come up in the oats this winter, but conditions were never quite right and blackgrass soon became too well attached. I think that it may work better in lighter soils or when the surface mellows a bit after twenty or so years no-till. I'll report back.
