Forgot to ring yesterday and ask defra but we went down with TB yesterday. Only one so hopefully we won't be down for longer. Will we still get a TLA for some building we winter the heifers in on another farm or will we not be able to move them off the holding?

Will be down to individual farm, but until we had to have our First SIT we couldn't move off anything than other our own or anything linked to us already

You will probably have to have a vets report on the site you want to move them too, Defra sorts that, if the vet says the site is OK and your cattle can't come in contact with other cattle you should be OK.

They don’t graze because we didn’t want to bring TB back to the dairy and I’ve already badger proofed the sheds and yard. Double layer of defence.

We got a TLA on a rented farm whilst being shut down without any issues, dare I say it the ministry were very helpful

We have one for some grass keep which was up for renewal last month. I requested renewal as usual, and it came through. I kept quiet about TB, that's up to them to work out, they may well have done and decided it's low risk, which it is.
