Tm270 jcb

Can anyone tell me how you relax the hydraulics to change attachments on a jcb tm 270 it’s draining me crazy one suggestion is that I turn it of then on but don’t start it then use the button to dump the pressure but this will not work can anyone advise apart from cracking the nut in the pipe thanks

You describe the correct procedure.

If it's not working then there is an accumulator that needs replacing.

do you have ignition on but not started i assume when operating valve to release hydraulics?

Yes i turn the jcb off wait a few seconds and then turn the key on but dont start the machine then press the joystick but dont get any pressure release it it switch based or is it like a mature and you pull some lever under the bonnet ? should i be ficking a switch before i press the joystick button ?
