I changed feed to group 1's about 5yrs ago too but at current £5 spot premium it wouldn't stack up even with fert in shed at £180. And I ended up trying a few varieties with poor results, on dry ground crusoe matures too late and low bushels.
Forward contracted £20/ton for 2016 harvest and booked £15/ton on 2017 harvest. If I hadn't I'd have swapped back and chased yield on grp4
