To late for stubble turnips?

Depends on your location, I put some in last week and it was up within 5 days, more going in tomorrow and a lot going in in the next week or 2 around here

got a couple of fields just finishing combining , going to go with Italian and Hobson i think not sure of the mix rates yet though...:unsure:..

I put some in last week they well up and growing ,depends on the year but if it's stays mild they will grow through until February , Rape never does much here , we quite high up here
If you drive 5 miles down the road they are 2 weeks ahead if us in the spring
Devon and South East will be a fair bit ahead of farms up North

That was last week a week is a very long time once you get into September.

As a seed salesman, it would be irresponsible of me to say 'yes, no problem you go ahead' and when it does and it all goes pear shape who's going to get the blame?

If the OP decides to sow ST then it's on him and no one else.

I can't see where he will get certified seed from at this late date, re-cleaned maybe but then that's a whole new ball game on top of late sowing.

If it's to late in Devon when was it to late in Scotland
