Bit of a story to start

Got a new alarm clock for Christmas, got it set up last night for 5:30 this morning.

So this morning my alarm goes off, my brain in its asleep state obviously couldn't work out what this new beeping sound was so decided it was a reversing beeper on a concrete truck  cue me shouting at 5:30 "woah woah stoooooooppp" Sian waking up turning light on and looking at me saying what the fudge are you doing you plonker  oops (and she did swear at me :( )

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Always about concrete:rolleyes: sleeping,dreaming about it :)

Double acting front linkage??

yes(y)nothing to do with the front links pressed to the ground:censored::whistle:

Yeah I could see that, I got my head confused about which way axel would drop :(

I wondered that but the weight block doesn't look anywhere near the ground.

So how many believed my last post? Haha!

It's jacked up on the weight block with double acting front links. But had to put some bits of sleeper under it to get enough clearance as the axle drops a long way on the suspension.

Wasn't sure why the roof timbers had a notch cut out of the end, it has all become clear with your last image.
Very tidy, its a pity to cover it with sheeting ............ (y)

I dislike the idea. I like every bay to be 15' centre to centre and every rafter double cleated to make it easy to carry on, and treats usually how my buildings come.

How other people my building my supply to like it is the last bay 15' to the outside so the woods finish flush and then they just single cleat the rafter.

So there was some confusion and the lads who welded it made the last 4 rafters wrong

Edit: if the last rafter is made double cleated you can run the purlins to half way and nail the 3x2 to the end :)

Disappointing day today. My worker man had to go doctors at 2 because he thinks he has a screw loose in his thumb from when he broke it, so just popped a few side sheets on

Panels coming tomorrow and just waiting on roof sheets. Letting people down is about the most reliable thing suppliers do :(

How do you level the bottom of the sheets Rob?

I'll pm tomorrow
