laser bucket leaves a lot of wheel marks for the water to tear down. You can either harrow or

use a grader board which leaves a nicer finish. Since this is going back into Lucerne, best to do it right.

Was a welcome distraction from the unparalleled joy of finding underground pipes covered in rock and tree roots. Ended up pulling the ripper through and waiting til the water came up....:banghead: Otago anniversary day so will go down the street and buy another coil of pipe in the morning, more joiners etc. At least I will have decent flow by replacing the 15mm length(s) with a 20mm one. All gravity water so now I'll be able to hopefully run all mobs on the same side of the farm (y)

Interesting machine (y)
You don't really get to see many hedgecutters here. Most are ruddy great big ones that reach 80 feet up, mounted on a 20T'er, I've seen one on a Merlo (on its side, no less) and a friend has one on my old ploughing tractor-MF8260). This is the first one I've seen on one of these machines and I was very impressed. Cut my hedge, limbed up my shelterbelt, pushed up the branches and out the gate in an hour. (y)
Local engineering firm in Balclutha made all the cutter.
