How many miles has it done to want new brake bits on the front? Our old ranger did 100k with only 1 set of front pads

Pads were fecked,and front right had a habit of sticking on,went to replace front right abs sensor and couldn't get Pistons back in they we're crumbling away.

Always thought it was very sound underneath but the brakes look like they've lived in the sea.

Auto won't help and I like to give it some,the sound of the merc v6 is pure music.:)

Oh floss fecked off for an ice cream or summet,she did come and pump the brakes for me though.:) all back and working now.

Well apart from the abs lights:banghead: think it might need resetting:banghead:

You will need to knock the light out an hopefully it will stay off can be a mine field with the abs niggles :banghead:
Hope caliper has fixed the binding issue too (y)

Then thought I'd put new calipers and abs sensors on my jeep,all was going well till the 2nd side and it fell off the Jack :banghead: no harm done and I don't think the tanker driver noticed,he was too busy having his dinner:)View attachment 550756
I'm still on with stirring the slurry lagoon,2.5m deep,not stirred for six weeks and about 450000 gallons.:)
Were you just using the jack supplied with the vehicle, only really recommended for wheel changing, and no axle stand or blocks of wood :eek:

Yep,just using the scissor Jack,school boy error,left it in park and didn't put handbrake on.

................

I'll try that tomorrow,did disconnect battery but didn't touch leads together,worth a punt.(y)
