You think string will do it ? I was getting rather fudged off with it so I just gave up, it will probably come off in a couple of minutes when I'm more relaxed

You probably know this but warm the engine up and slacken filter before it cools but don't burn hands on hot oil. Engine heat softens seal and helps oil drain out sump as well.

I really wish some so called plumbers would think before they got the hammer out, took a bit of effort, but got the tile out without damaging the Ines around it. [emoji106]
One of those, while your here, can you sort this for me, a mate was looking for a leak and did this, won't come back to fix it
