Spent morning calf feeding in horrible weather. Done back in a bit from yesterday, still have more mucking out to do today as well
I managed to have some time off to spend cuddling my favourite little gal.

weather looks pretty decent. Hope it stays that way tbh, ours has gone to pot reguarly over the past 2 weeks. Thankfully all hay is gotten in.. :)
looks can be deceptive!
It's had rain on it every day since it was cut, and it's just lashed it down 5 minutes after they've pulled out of the field! They left a row by the road for me to bale, because of the risk of contamination from rubbish thrown out of cars, and that got a bit wet!

Nice, they leave you to damage your machine, rather than risk theirs(n)

Although, to be fair, most people would probably do the same, and I assume you agreed to do the row anyway
Only McDonald's wrappers, and stuff like that. Not what you want chopped up in horse feed, but fine wrapped up in bales for cattle. I did say leave what they don't like the look of, because they'll only dump it, and this way I get half a dozen good bales of silage! (I might have to scrounge a roll of wrap off someone, I'm not sure I've got any laying around, and lucerne needs 8 layers!)
