The grab is a mchale and the bales are 4 string and 5ft long ,2ftx3ft wide. Baler and wrapper are contractors, the rest my tack.
My contractors have that many different sized balers, that i get confused!
There were 74 off a 6 acre field. It did have a god dose of pig slurry.

@Princess Pooper, I like the picture of the cow in buttercups, it's a pity the narrow depth of focus just missed the cow.

I think you'll find it's heat haze, the cow was definitely the focal point but at a considerable distance and at mid day. There is nothing that is pin sharp due to the haze. (Had to edit a word out there that the obscenity checker didn't like!) Here is another taken in the cool of early morning.

Yes, you're right about the heat haze, but the buttercups and grass 10-15ft in front of the cow is sharper than that at here feet and the fore ground.
(I still like it though.)

To be fair, I was just taking my brother a bacon butty and a brew. This is on the field I posted a picture of the forage wagon on last week:)

You can deduce what happened. It involved an idiot leaving it in a stupid place in the yard and a tractor pick up hitch. When I saw it take off down the yard I thought it was toast but not even cracked lights (y)
