I saw this back on the horizon today heading towards Portland. I was supposed to be dung carting but thought that it would be more interesting to jump in the car and get a closer look.
Here she is, HMS Queen Elizabeth anchored off Portland in Weymouth Bay. She has been on trials around the Dorset , Devon and Cornish coasts for the last few weeks.
It's a shame there are no aircraft for her.
