Shed Steel turned up Monday so in my spare time I've been glueing it together. View attachment 609164 naturally the dogs been watching my work to ensure it's all to CE specView attachment 609162View attachment 609160 as my days are full of other work most of it has been done at night, which keeps me out of the pub or worse going xmas shopping! View attachment 609156 but I had a good day on it today and half a day tmrw will have it finished. Brush down, then painting with the boss over the weekend

Off to drink beer now... Oops I mean play pool!

Looking good! Hope you don't mind me mentioning a tip I picked up from an old welder who did all his welding on structural steel in MMA with iron powder electrodes and that was to start your run mid way along the fillet and burn the rod out towards the root, that way when you come to the root radius you have plenty of heat to burn right into the corner and helps to reduce the risk of slag traps.

What's going in?
Grass, to replace old tack.

Tack that has probably been around since Jezza played blindside for Jerusalem 1st XV looking at the state of it!

Those flats are regularly underwater, hence the late sowing, not often you have to plan cultivation around tide heights!

So just a straight PRG and then nuke the weeds for a year or 2 then establish clovers, hopefully....
