The like is for your attitude not the content of the postShite happens mate, especially with livestock.
It rounds off my worst ever business decision. I bought 3 in calf heifers and 2 bulling ones from a friend 14 months ago to help build the herd up for £4200. The 3 in calf ones calved while I was down your way and just after: 2 cesareans both huge dead calves & 1 dead huge calf by Jack, lost 2 of the heifers afterwards as well. The 2 bulling heifers have now calved to our own bull: 1 huge live calf by Jack with heifer down for 2 days & today's calf dead with a vet bill.
Final tally: 3 heifers survive and 1 calf.
At least We live to fight another day
Can't you just blow it straight in the baler, or just chucked about by hand?
No pavement around?
A couple of little nippers cleared quite an area there. You've got some ambitions worms!!
I’ve seen a turkey shed where there was a rail suspended from above with a flat sledge slung from it ( a bit like a cable car) which would slide down the shed taking a quadrant bale on the platform and the operator could lift off wads as he pushed it down the track.Tried carrying wedges of the hestons into the shed but it just falls apart outside, got 6 hestons in as a trial as much to see if the birds would eat it for a bit of fibre as anything, no idea if it has blackgrass in or not so decided the best thing was to bale it up on some permanent pasture, that way any blackgrass won't matter.
Ended up get 3 or so inches of snow here , had some shop projects that have been waiting so after picking up parts at JD dealers, made some progress on this ,went as far as I could til the back ordered parts come in[emoji35] View attachment 645304View attachment 645308View attachment 645310View attachment 645312

I am beginning to wonder if that bloodline are going way over time with their calves. I expected her to calve a month ago and the nightmare ones last June were expected in early May.Far out.... hard to know a single way to add cheer to that
Any ideas why the massive calves?
You have girly hair. All thick and long.
Hair.

Something my Nan would do lolA tip for next time:
Nice day to send them out in to the big wide world
the customer wanted it back from the dyke and thought taking old one dowm would just make dyke worse so hes leaving it..You lads seem to be allergic to the old fence, would it not look better with just one boundary?
Or are you going planting trees in the gap?
