Road trip to fetch a stack of pallets to go under a mate's hay bales in shed. 224 on there. A few will work out how far I had to travel to get 'cheap' pallets.
Can get a rush on and get the second 500 4' round bales in now before the weather breaks.

Made a start putting the barley cut yesterday through the plant this morning.

My grandad kept me going with brews he doesn’t do bad for 95! And still wearing his wellies in this heat

Then went making some little bales for a customer.

It was a customer’s (the one I was baling for today) and it’s still in bits! Really struggling to find the parts welger aren’t been very helpful at all, anyone know of someone braking an ap730?

The main crown wheel and pinion shaft out of the big gear box at the front/side.

Why on earth would you want to spray that? And then wonder why Glyphosate is about to get banned.

We have some that looks just like that from a tractor cab but about 8 inches down the stem it is still very green believe it or not. We have had to spray ours of today to.

Hmm,it can be frustrating, but then, looking at the W Wheat in my fields, I'll need the income over the next few months/years to recover this years losses

Doing a bit of field tidying between hay batches.

Two full trailers now, I am such a crap farmer.

Especially when I went to feed the last few hoggets (that we keep for the shop) and one was missing.....

Then I found her with her new friend.

Then had to sort out another stupid ewe.

Similar to @Beames post yesterday. The sheep were moved ten days ago, I was going too top it to tidy it up, someone had other ideas so it was mowed.

raked it today, 5 into 1 After a quick tutorial I finally made my first ever round bale

Tidied the field up and got twenty odd bales which may come in handy if not for eating,bedding.
Then I was called for escort duty

followed him up later with the baler

Thank you @mixed breed for giving me the opportunity the learn so much in such a short period of time and for being there every step of the way even when I did it wrong you still had the patience put up with me
