Has anyone sold any straw yet? And what’s it moving for?
There’s probably another thread running but thought I’d ask. I’ve had loads of enquiries but reluctant to move any yet looking at the spring crops!

Thanks, £100/t seems to be the theme at the moment, we’ve storing most of the winter barley straw but I’ve got a customer who usually bales it behind the combine so need to know what to charge.

  6. I’ve moved two loads today at £77 per tonne. Probably on the cheap side but favourable terms which worked for both of us (customer is chasing bales and payment before it leaves the field) my phones never stopped ringing this week. Hoping for more per tonne as harvest moves on.

Baling pea straw after the viners on what seemed like Bridlington Beech
Machinery was covered in a thick coat of sand but the straw seems very clean
Only got a bale to the acre but it looks great stuff
