Started our wheat today. Well went round the field twice to entertain my grandson. If pushed I’d have carried on, but as all the family were here, decided to stop and wait till Monday.

The yield is OK surprisingly!

Still waiting for the last 15 ha of Rape to get fit. Not rounduped any of it off as natural rather than liquid sunshine has worked well for us so far this year and I’d swear yields are always better if you can leave it.

But this the first harvest I have done where we started the wheat ( will probably even finish it all!) before we finish the Rape.

Is there much to calibrating the yield and moisture ?
We have a CX8040 and I was rendering as the owners manual is a fair read haha

How’s your wheat running @slim shiny ?
Not as bad as expected tbh, the worst bits on the real light land is running around 7.5t/ha, the better bits on the light land is running around 9-9.5. The wheats on the stronger land are still green so won’t be into them for another week to 10 days but they are looking quite promising considering the season they’ve had
