Another thing to watch is the centre skids, they wear at the front then when they snap they bend the bit where they mount & you can't fit new ones...this is on trailed machines, mounted may be different being lighter may not damage themselves the same.Ah alright. Mine are not caught in time exactly, some tines are hanging onto the last bit of iron. I ment to do it last winter but I really didn't feel like it. Now also replacing the left skid and all knifeholders.
I bought it because it had a nearly new cutterbar but everything else is a bit tired.
I do 100 hectare a year max so it should serve me for some years to come.
If you own a KV plough it will break at some time, yet people still buy them, why?

How long have you had that? Looks a good tool.View attachment 706666 Nipping over a field we have just taken on with our Phoenix rotary Harrow , The field is coming OSR but the combine that cut it didn’t have a chaff spreader and has left some pretty awful trails . The Harrow is just spreading them out and scratching the top nicely . View attachment 706664 View attachment 706662 View attachment 706660
I’ve had it for 7-8 years , we brought it when we were DD everything after finding conventional straw harrows we’re not moving enough . The pitch is adjustable so it can be made more or less aggressive . There are some good videos of them working on YouTube but all in the states where they are very popular . This one was imported by record .How long have you had that? Looks a good tool.
