Decided to put somemore turnips in. Bit hard so bomford superflow followed by discs and rolls to keep the moisture in.

Then this evening the wind dropped and it was so still we thought we'd get the straw stacks covered.

Despite having some rain over the last couple of weeks we desperately need more the beet are flagging and when we dug the trenches for the plastic you could see why. A foot down just below the topsoil the sand is like it belongs in a egg timer,

Been busy trying to expand the empire the past few days so not had many interesting pics, back to the grind today however.

Went and knocked some overhang trees back this morning then we can get under with the tractors and combine next year.

Called to see how my covers are doing that I drilled with the 750A last week. Quite impressed with the establishment so far, drilled exactly 7 days today.

Then made a start looking at some drains where it was lying wet over winter, broke out the big guns:ROFLMAO:

Had to put that job on hold though as the sun came out so decided to crack on with some spring barley.
