Lots of mowers busy today. The latest we've ever cut and the only time I've worn a jacket while mowing this morning. Lovely weather mind. Very pleasant:)

Not looking great yield wise but definitely rocket fuel. Very variable across the field. Most recovered well from the dry summer, one patch not so much. This is what 12 weeks regrowth looks like :(

Some fresh grass for this greedy old heifer. Think she needs fattening up:whistle:

Mowed some crap last week for the dutch version of nature england. Tightish gateways.

This one hadn't been cut for a while. The blackberry bush was not a one year growth I recon.

A little less crappy here. This should've been combined but they figured it wasn't worth it. So I take the stuff off it and I'll disc it (if I can hire a disc).

Had the 6420 for some 6 weeks now, love it!

Nice scenery though. Only a few kilometers from my home and right in the forest. The white tent is for catching insects which they then count.

Nice job it was.

Feels like it’s been a busy one today, started out with a front hub seal on a 6230.

Then finally got going on some wheat:), only a small field though so didn’t take long:rolleyes:

Back to the yard to see how the old man’s getting on blacking over the next field.

Swapped the wheels on the sprayer ready for some pre-em hopefully at some point tomorrow.

And swapped the wheels on the 6520 to go and work some grass up.

Went and worked said grass.

As it’s turning a bit cooler, Mrs adeptandy hinted that it was getting a tad cool mornings and evenings in the new place
So guess what I’ve been doing today .........

Yep, fitting the boiler, had been putting it off since we moved in, but Autumn is creeping up fast

Wouldn’t have been a long job, but hadn’t got any pipework in either

Ah well, will have to finish it another day, just the LPG to connect and the wiring to do, back on the discs in the morning, W Barley to drill soon [emoji41]
You'll be itching and coughing after the lovely insulation.

@Phil P did you get the welger baler shorted ,...not still waiting for a price i hope
Still in bits! The part isn’t available from welger/lely:facepalm:. The chap it belongs to unfortunately past away recently also:oops: so not been a high priority for his lad. Probably be a winter project to find parts now or scrap it.
