Hi , we use them more to prevent the seed pipe completely blocking if we get a blocked coulter , especially on spring beans @ 300+ kg/ha .
Robert
I’ve had a bit of trouble with blockages when on high seed rates recently, wondering if they may help with flow down the pipe maybe? What make are they? Look a nice compact unit.

They are from weaving and are only about £6 each I think . Also if you do get a block you can see pretty quickly as the seed shoots out of the opening . I do think they help with air flow , I’ve read on here a few people moaning about seed being blown out of the air bleed if this is happening the fan speed is to high .If the seed and air can’t get out of the coulter fast enough I causes back pressure and the seed will back up .

Thanks bob, for £6 it can’t hurt to try them I suppose. I’ll give them a call (y)

If you put a strap on the safety cage the other one might pull it over to get timber under one side?
Even anchor the other one to the side of the victim and pull it over with a ratchet strap.
The spade is fine for the first 20 minutes to half an hour ...........
Its out.

I dug down to the towing eye and shackled on a strap, I then placed a large firewood chopping block on the ground at the back and run the strap over the chopping block and attached other end to other Argo, using the chopping block meant when pulling we were lifting before actually pulling. It popped out first pull.

I know technically it’s a Sunday stroll with the dogs, but I’m going to call it crop walking so the following pics qualify for t@w;) plus it’s been far to wet to do any real work:whistle:

Although it’s more of a fast walk than a stroll with these two!

A massive thank you to Deb Powell for giving Freddie and me the Grand Tour of all the belties, sheeted Welsh and Jacobs today . It certainly was not the weather for the SLr camera in the constant rain so I borrowed this picture from shelsleysbelties.co.uk The damp certainly didn't dampen our day as we also took in the WNT reserve at Tewkesbury . Even more impressive with David away in Australia for Deb to devote so much of her time on us. Thank you for lunch too!
