Few pics from yesterday, another load of beet first thing, think there’s only one more to go now.

Then treated my old pickup to a spot of tlc (mot coming up:facepalm:).

4 new tyres, think I was pushing my luck with the old ones:whistle:

Though it’s been handling like a jelly for a while, found one of the anti roll bar drop links was snapped so replaced both of them.
View attachment 757602

Also treated it to some new dampers as the bottom bushes had perished.

Wouldn’t have want to change the oil filter without a ramp! It’s not in the handiest of places.
View attachment 757604

Even splashed out on a new air filter:)

Should be good for another couple of years now:ROFLMAO:
Probably to early to ask, how are you finding those tyres?
I was considering them on my ranger, but the fitter said they are like marmite

Ye only the one pivot steer, they stopped making telehandlers not long after the 38 was released:rolleyes:.
Apparently they only sold telehandlers in the UK which just wasn’t a big enough market share to continue with manufacturing and r&d:facepalm:. Personally I don’t think they needed much altering from the 3200! Maybe just slightly faster hydraulics? Other than that I don’t think they needed all the fancy electrical stuff.

Surprising really given the popularity of their tractors. Telehandlers do seem to be a UK thing as you say though.

I guess JCB/Manitou do quite a few onto construction sites.....but maybe John Deere isn't enough of a construction brand to have the draw.

Up to now they seem fine, plenty of grip on the road (I’ve given them some pain:whistle:) and not noisy on the motorway. As you say though it’s to early to say how they’re going to wear and I’ve not tried them off road as yet but look to have a decent tread pattern. I didn’t think they where to bad on price either, especially as I fit an over sized 265 tyre instead of the stand 255.

They sold extremely well in the UK but we’re just a spec on the global market!
I think the jd construction kit is completely different to the ag side, they don’t tend to bring their construction gear to the field UK either. I think this is due to the massive market share that jcb and cat have over here.

Today’s pics (not many) only a couple of bits a the Airport, only one worth a photo though. Fuel leak on one of the snow plough/brushes, of course it’s the one day it’s forecast snow so there was a bit of panicking going on
