Few pics,

Had a bit of a mess of a day yesterday due to been harassed be various customers . Also It’s a bit of a long story but a young lad on a motorbike was involved in a hit and run virtually at the end of our drive:eek:, fortunately he hobbled away from it but could have been much worse! Helped him recover his bike off the road so lost a big chunk of my day:rolleyes: but it was my good deed and what go’s around comes around(y)

Anyway managed to welding the bosses on.

Then pulled the head of a 6630 this morning

You would think someone’s already cleaned the inside of the engine looking at the bits that came out.

Head stripped ready to go for a skim on Monday.

That was Friday that wasn’t very productive (similar to a day at the airport anyway really:whistle:), didn’t get much other than the bosses welded on!
Saturday was far more productive, it usually is though as I don’t get as many phone calls or people bobbing in for a chat:rolleyes:

I admire your work you have to be a very well organised person. Do you have anybody helping you out with the mechanicing

Just me in the workshop, the old man helps on the farm/contracting side of things and occasionally my brother or uncle will chip in during harvest etc.
I it’s a case of organising the way thejobs come in to keep them turning over, a big job can be sat for a week waiting for parts so it soon fills the workshop!

So at the moment I’m waiting on parts for the 68 so not much to do on that, the 66 I’ll drop the head off Monday morning which leaves all day Monday to do the 64.. should get head back tuesday morning so 66 can go back together by which time my parts should be in for the 68 on Wednesday:).
Just have to be well organised(y) never works like that though cos someone will brake down and I’ll lose half a day:facepalm::ROFLMAO:
