They are more or less in a straight line and vary from 26 to 52 inches apart.

Been a busy few days so a bit of a catch up.

6830 update, Got the pistons in and bottom end bolted up, axle back on. Come to put the head back on and the bolt kit was wrong:facepalm: (premium and standard engines have different head bolts), apparently the kits have been boxed up wrong by Deere’s and now back ordered:banghead:

Finally got round to hava look at the 7930, turbo variable nozzles are seized so whipped that off and sent it to be repaired.

Roll the barley?

Roll the barley?
It’s been rolled post drilling but to roll it again at this stage would mean I couldn’t have sprayed it, think rolling would knock it a little to much where it’s really suffering as well. Gave it a sniff of N also to help kick it into life.
It’s the same every year though on this field, by the time it’s fit to get on with the sprayer it’s nearly to late!

We had some barley like that and we rolled it last week. I went over it yesterday with manganese and the rolls have transformed it, it's had mn and NS and will probably get rolled again in a week or two.
Rolls are a very under rated tool and u think People panic too much about using them.

If it’s stays dry long enough it’ll probably get rolled again, it’s not the sort of ground (moss/peat) you can roll unless it’s 100% dry otherwise it will stick in the rollers and pull the plants up! Trouble is we struggle to get 3 dry days together in this part of the world, it’s raining now and had most of the night!
