Cross posted from dairy but i'm moderately pleased with myself today, it's a slow start but something i've always wanted to do.

Found a bit of a branch blown 50 yards into a field in the winter, I can't remember having a North wind that strong.

That'll be the same one I struggle to miss most years with the loader. Maybe next year it will be buried rather than covered in muck.

Expensive day today. Calf was on its side with its head back and body bent in a U shape. Only one way it was coming out and that was through the side door. Surprisingly the calf was still alive and is doing well E5EBE020-F1E5-4930-A935-420B48247FAE.jpeg

5713, about 18 months old. Very happy with it. The bigger tyres make a big difference to it.

  20. image.jpg Going to pick a couple stones so I can sow kale when I get chance. plowing reshes was hell even after they’d been mashed up with the spikerator I wouldn’t like to do that to often but the field already looks better
