I'm not sure how, but I ended up getting roped into helping strip down the livestock area until 8 o'clock last night.
I was making a big point about how I was purely a spectator at the show this year: not involved with the organisation of anything, then spent Saturday afternoon running stuff over there for Southminster, then Sunday sorting out tug of war bits for Halstead.
it's 20 years now since I was a paid up member! (Apart from that year I cycled to Torquay as club president, and paid a membership to be covered by their insurance)

We pay him in firewood.
He turned up to saw it up.

I remember getting excited when my old JD 3050 turned 15000 hrs only to find out there were loads about with far more on the clock . Eventually put her in a collective sale with 16400 hrs on and couldn't believe the interest in it and the money it made.

Not my place, a contract job at a farm I do digger work on that’s letting the house out separately, the trades are getting towards being done inside so there’s a scrat for places to get the outside tarted up

The power harrows brought a few bits of reshes back to the top but they should rot down.. I sowed it on Saturday and getting fert on now so hopefully gained a few acres if it all goes right

My dad says he’s never plowed it it’s always been the reshy field with a pond in for 30 year couldn’t believe there was only 1 stone I’ve another 6-7 acre to do next year but need to saw a path threw a wood to get to it
