I’ve been fettling the old 77 on a night after work, since it’s come back from the mechanics, it’s had new air con compressor and re-gas, new pto shaft and bearing assembly, tappets adjusted, electrics sorted and everything working like she was brand new! It’s even had new speakers as the old ones had disintegrated. Got the old hedger on with a re-conned head with fresh flails, she is ready for another season

Snatched a few more acres of straw - wheat that didn't blow away yesterday, I haven't gone looking for the barley straw yet but a lot is missing.

Carted on my own .

For some reason part of the front ladder became unfixed to the rest of the trailer.

Then one of the others took pity on me and helped out but with smaller loads.

Enough of those things in the shed - back to squarer bales next although it is peeing down and with thunder and lightening as I type.

Finished chopping the stubble in one of the fields that will be grass

Sorry, it’s a Mk4 Golf GTTDI, this one has the rotary pump 1.9 just before the not so good PD came out!!
I've got an old A4 Audi estate that's used as a farm runabout it's on 224000 never failed an mot never broke down except that the rats got into it when I parked it in shed for a few days and have chewed some wiring but once that's sorted she will be up and running again .....

Well I’ve had enough MOT failures or things that had to be sorted prior to MOT on triggers broom here but it’s been a good car over the years. Bough it at three years old ex lease with 70k on the clock! It’s had a S/H gearbox few years ago but same engine but needs a set of tappets really
