I raked the last of the hay yesterday for my grass tenant, first cut stuff, old meadow grass that hangs on in there however late you cut it, and it made some nice stuff. Latest hay I've made on this farm, not sure whether my father ever made any later.

Sf was mucky . Yes airstream the mucky tide mark round face. Used to get dropped off at field off school bus , clothes and tea in a bag tied to hedge . Then go combining while they led bales home or milked

Finished drilling Winter Barley this evening. The rain last night wasn’t going to stop me on the Banbury Ironstone land.
It was the Harvest fest in the church tonight and no doubt the sermon was about some falling on Stoney ground, at the exact time I was drilling this

The rain having washed any soil that was on the stones!

Calibration of the Kuhn Venta is pretty good when you have just this much seed left in the hopper at the end
