You have concrete addiction issues...?
Maybe you said before , did you make those pans yourself ? How many bags do you put in that pan mixer ? What cube is it ?
I have a Fliegel , reckons its .6 cube. Used use 4 bags for a wall , 5 for a floor. Haven't used it in several years . Cost of ingredients versus readymix not really stacking up.
Yes I did make them myself - 25 years ago or more, there is a third section which bolts on too that makes it over 21 feet long for the normal bays.

Mixer holds just over 0.75 m I think, I put 8 bags in for floors, 9 for walls (which have a wetter mix) cement £3 per bag at present.

Concrete arrives when I want it. I did 4 cubes yesterday which was just the right amount

That sounds rather on the weak side to me. These days in our Fliegl pan mixer I rarely use less than 8 bags for a sensibly strong mix - that's mixed with a 900kg bulk bag of sand/ballast.

Usually do 4-5 mixes a year with it on average - awkward spots I couldn't get a readymix lorry to, or small batches like round manhole covers, a base for a garden shed that type of thing. It also comes in handy for small building projects - can build a block wall shuttering one day, fill behind it with a mix or two, then the next day build up a bit more, then fill in behind etc. etc. There are things you can do with a pan mixer that you can't with readymix as you'd have to have the full 6 cube in one day, not spread across 2-3.

I always used 2 bags in a Teagle Tipmix , and I couldn't see this being more than twice the size of the Teagle .

I bought it slightly used , in 08 . 1st owner had a Zetor 6340 with front loader , and a tidy old David Brown 885 , which he used on the mixer . I was in half mind of taking it off the boogie, but it's quite handy on it , plus very handy/quick to hitch onto.

Ah I see - that's a 600 so about 0.5 cube. I have an 800 which is 0.75 or so.

Looks a handy job with the bogie.

Busy making some round bales. Behind the baler you can see the maize silage standing very well. First time in 10 years where we are able to make bales in February. Usually January and February just to dry and the cows eat all the available pastures. Been a very good start for 2020. Would that be nice green hay or are you going to wrap it in plastic or into a tube ??
